The Balearic Symphony Orchestra is the main protagonist of the island's cultural agenda in the month of December. And it is because it is going to close the season with two concerts at the Trui Teatre, which will take place on the 10th and 17th. Always with all the security measures, following the protocols in health matters.
On December 10, the Balearic Symphony Orchestra will perform under the direction of Pablo Mielgo, Handel's Messiah, with the soprano Nuria Rial; the countertenor Leandro Maciotto; the baritone José Antonio López; and the Choir Universitat de les Illes Balears –directed by Joan Company-.
With regard to the concert scheduled for December 17, it is another tribute to Ludwig Van Beethoven in the year we celebrate his 250th anniversary. The Symphony will perform Symphony No. 1 and No. 5, in which it will be its last performance of the 2021 subscription season.
As always, in all concerts the capacity will be limited and the performances will be carried out following the established hygiene and safety protocols, such as maintaining the safety distance, the supply of hydroalcoholic gel to the attendees and the use of a mask mandatory during the concert.
